Do you have to farm solo?
I'm new to the farming scene, and have been chasing after an elusive green scythe for a little while. I always go with me and three heroes. I don't trust others in the game enough yet to ask for help, and I cannot solo it. Does that mean I'll never get the scythe? Do you have to be all human to get greens?

Simply put:
1 person = all drops
2 people = half the drops
3 people = one third of drops
...
8 people = one eighth of drops
So it makes sense to maximize your changes, and go solo. Running with 4 heroes means that, statistically, it will take you 4 times as long to get the drop (random also means it could drop on the next run, or after 8122 runs).
Party member = party member. Human, hench, hero, doesn't matter. They are all equal.

also if u can't solo it....and don't mind working with others....if you go with an all human group u will see ALL the drops...so even if it falls for someone else it will still show...where as if you go with all heros it will only show as a "drop" if it drops for you. Just remeber that all drops are assigned to a person for 5 or 10 mins so if you go with other people and the item drops for you no one else can touch it unless u don't pick it up within 10 mins. You have the same chance of getting it wether with 3 heros or with 3 other players ...its just that you won't see it if it drops for a hero where as u will if it drops for another human player...i am sure i repeated myself several times the lol :P
Good Luck

nightfall made solo farming easy actually. heres the method....
take a full group of 8 henches and go to the boss. kill the group around the boss (but do not kill the boss). then run away and flag all of the henches off the screen until their names go grey. then all you do is go back and solo the boss. just set up to specifically kill that 1 boss. its really easy. the drops are only set to whoever is on the radar....i "soloed" all the bosses on marga coast this way with ease. it can be done anywhere though, even in prophecies and factions.
